Description of Practice
Environmental Law:  I represent individuals, public interest organizations and others concerning a broad array of environmental issues, involving mining, land use, oil and gas exploration and development, public land management, contamination, timber, water and other matters in both administrative and judicial forums.  

Real Property and Land Use:  I represent landowners and businesses concerning a variety of different issues involving real property, including such areas as landlord and tenant relations, land use, zoning, real estate transactions, contamination, and drainage matters.

Probate and Estates:  I represent individuals regarding probate and estate planning matters, from drafting wills and trusts, preparing advance health care directives and powers of attorney, and probating estates.

Non-Profit Law:  I also counsel non-profit organizations in the formation and operation of their business, including organizational issues and documentation, obtaining and maintaining federal income tax exemption status, and operational matters. 

Other Areas of Practice
Although I primarily practice in the foregoing areas of law, I also represent and counsel clients concerning business organization, formation and operation matters, preparing contracts and perform other transactional work.
